Annointed

By your word to teach
And every sound enrich
They that thirst quench
The lost to recall
And lift that fall

May your life be a worthy prayer
Of no place or race
Of not time or season
No qualification or limitation

By you hand heal
And the weeping console
So mend the broken soul

Be hope to the child and the old
Family and Friend
Familiar and stranger
The winner and sinner

Your feet never to tire
To reach out be your desire
No ground shall you fear
Till its done never retire

Ever present Christ in the Eucharist
Be your sunrise hunger and Sunset thirst
Hail her daily on the rosary
Mary mother of the strong and faint
With Psalms your endless chant
As you ponder and wonder at His splendour
with the martyrs, prophets and the saints
On an on to the heavens gates

And just like Ignatius
Always pray to be generous
Live awareness and evaluation
And be strong in submission

For you we will always pray
For us never cease to pray
In His grace to always stay
In benediction day by day

The World Still Spun Round

Ground and paralyzed by fears
Apart torn and running on tears
Blind or ignorant it appears
Fireworks and dance coupled their cheers
Yet round the world still spun
As though I weren’t around

Slowly the smile did fade
And the stare distant and cold
So did the voice void and sad
As the heart to halt ground

Strolling astray I hit the road
For the other world in tales told
Always beyond the bend ahead
But at the market, they bought and sold
And none saw a soul trapped in the wild

On cliff edge by fate stood
Defeat is all my stature told
To wild thoughts and dreams sold
Soared and see sawed toward suicide
Too frail and finished to hold
But rise and set the sun held

Solace I found at a deserted shade
Maimed and coiled in the cold
Dust and darkness on me settled
Like a ruined city of the old
Ruled by rodents and strange wind
But rise and set the sun still held

In breath and time I shall stand
Stained faint of blood or friend
On a will bold to still hold
Deeper rooted and spirited to bend
On a mission back from near dead
The old far behind, the sight set ahead

Shall I…

Shall I rise with you when you do
And lend you my hand should you fall
Shall you expect my voice when you call
And be the sweet memories of you recall

Shall I cheer you on when you try
And gaze to the sky as you fly
Shall I wipe your tears if you cry
And be the thought on which you rely

Shall I be your strength when you’re weak
And light you path if it falls dark
A home where to come back
When the sun scorches, shall I be your shade

Shall I shed you if it rains
And shelter your heart if in pain
Shall my node make you bold
And warm when its cold

Shall I make you complete
Even when you feel apart
Shall I be that which makes you be…
Shall I ….
