Early Exit

I first loved the smile
Yea, the photo on the profile
To chat I took a while
And didn’t hasten the call

On that day in August
When by chat it did start
I really hoped it would last
And I gave it my best

Time and words became long
And the feeling that we belong
Yes, the pull became strong
The next chat we would long

What of teases and plans
One day be in each other arms
To tour and horse ride
The date wouldn’t be blind

Hard to let go the dimples
In your eyes the star that twinkles
The dream to ride round the ranch
And by lust your body to touch

The dream of having twins
If ever our desire wins
Maybe the wish remains
Or love one day returns

Sad that we say goodbye
Even before we dared to try
Just makes me wonna cry
And really wonder why

My heart shrinks in pain
And tears I can’t restrain
Why couldn’t you remain
And will you ever return?

Yours
Wango

WISH ME A GOODNIGHT

Wish me a good night
That my dreams may be sweet
Not of painful plight or fright
Or monsters that bite

Wish me a good night
That the hours may be warm
Among the stars I may be home
As I tour the skies with the moon
May not desire to return soon

Wish me a good night
To plant a smile on my lips
Of memory that never slips
How ever long the world sleeps
Or rolls when the cliff steeps

Say it when the world is silent
For even in their wake they won't get it
Let my heart sway to the sound of the flute
The sacred tune that carries the secret

Wish me a good night
That in the sheets I may tuck tight
For that magical word feels right
The magic of the soul's delight
Just wish me a goodnight...

Void As The Wind

Who are the friends and where are they
Who are brothers and lovers
Who watch me covered in thirst and dust
And like strangers walk past

Where are they of similar vein
To whom am supposed to turn in pain
Who see the tears in the smile
And the cry hidden a laughter

Where are the strong shoulders
That belief in the spirit of a soldier
Who lend a hand when one is tired
And a kiss of life on death bed

Yes, formless as the wind
And empty is their word
All alone in this crowded world
Not a soul on whom to hold
