Miles

Tarmac stretch miles between
Keeping my heart in total pain
Away from my only home
One who keeps my soul calm

She chills in the misty drizzle
Nothing to make the fire fizzle
Though like a needle
The prick is feeble
It dare not make it weak
Neither my spirit dare break

I send the sun by the day
Wind and the clouds when its dark
To take my love all the way
And refract it to me back

Miles mince my heart to meat
Grind it when we're apart
But the flame burns brighter
And the bond grows thicker

Miles mean nothing much
For heavens made this match
Shamefully lie in between
Our heart the battle will win

Yours to have and love
Julius of sweet years
