Anger settled and I wanted to hate
Love pleaded, “Give me a chance”
The journey got long and I wanted to turn
Persistence said, “let’s keep moving”
I felt frail and any more couldn’t try
Strength spoke and said, “I am here”
And when darkness seemed to overpower
Light shone and all was bright
Fright and fear fought to reign
Courage flexed and asserted
In a sound of still wind
A call to be bold
