Time like tides come and go
So the birds we've come to know
They leave the West for the East
Called by what they know best
Maybe what they seek they fail to find
Or still miss what they left behind
They decisively make a turn
Like a call to home return
That for a reason
Or just their season
I offered no reason to stay
And so you went away
Will tides ever turn one day
To bring you back my way?
Shall I make my confession
From my sins to get remission
If only in my heart
Yours to find rest
To the persons I once met....
